Sell Anywhere
Booklog handles mobility with ease. Open up diverse sales channels and sell books anywhere with multiple deployment options.
A Complete Mobile Sales Option
Imagine a pop-up store with all the features of Booklog on a laptop. Booklog's client application and database are small enough to install to a Microsoft Surface Pro or touch-enabled laptop, with all the features of Booklog Retail. The configurable touchscreen interface makes sales easy even on a small laptop screen. Sales don’t need an internet connection, which means that system speed and responsiveness is only limited by the processing speed of your computer, and not by internet speed or availability.
To process credit cards, you’ll need an internet connection and a credit card device. Non-wired card processing hardware options are available from Mercury/Vantiv or Square.
Remote Sales
Take a copy of your in-store database with you wherever you want to go with Booklog’s Remote Sales module. This store-outside-a-store offers multiple offsite workstations and users, while keeping your in-store database active. Let your brick-and-mortar store customers take advantage of gift cards and frequent buyer certificates from your remote location. Import sales back into your main database, preserving the connection to your external event for reporting purposes.
Square Sales Integration
Booklog's Bookfair to Square Sales module uses book fairs to track inventory. Create the book fair, then export the items and quantities to Square. With an internet connection and Square hardware, make sales at your event through your Square account. After the event, import the sales from Square back into Booklog. Booklog connects to your Square account with your Square credentials, so data transfer is immediate and direct. Booklog retains the sales and inventory records for reporting and re-ordering.
Online Sales and Website Options
Online Sales with Timber

IndieCommerce
Bookstores with an IndieCommerce site through the American Booksellers Association (who don't need a fully live connection to their store) can export their booklists to their IndieCommerce site. Orders can be downloaded into Booklog's Mail Order module.

Custom Website, or
Third-Party Export
If you wish to maintain or build your own website, this is always an option. We can provide client access to your store database, and utilize the same connector we offer other third parties. The client access gives your developer full read access to the database, and the connector allows orders to be dropped live into Booklog's Mail Orders module. Your developers are responsible for hosting and maintaining your website.
Booklog also has an optional UIEE/Amazon export for selling on Amazon, Half.com, AbeBooks, or other sites accepting standardized book-inventory data.
